The
Jersey Project |
 |
We're undergoing the
daunting task of compiling a
complete online directory of regular season NHL jersey styles from 1970 to
present with an emphasis on manufacturer, construction,
patches, tagging and variations by year.
Keep in mind that this is only a guide. There are
always exceptions to the rule due to a number of reasons, so
variations or deviations from what is listed here does not
necessarily invalidate the jersey.
We are relying on the
collector/dealer community to help fill in the blanks and make this a
reliable guide for collectors. Your name will appear on the credits
list at the bottom of this page.
Glossary: Collar
- inside near the back of the neck. Flag
- a folded over tag, usually found in the
collar. Hem -
bottom strip of the jersey. Label
- Sewn to jersey along all edges. Neck
- see collar. Tag -
single piece of material attached by one side. Tail
- backside of the hem.
